Being independent, we offer a wide variety of investment and insurance services and are not tied to a specific company. Thus, we are able to utilize a wide variety of companies for your specific needs. We approach investing with the goal of reducing taxes, meeting retirement needs, solving any unusual needs, and providing a plan to transfer assets to the next generation.

Carlton W. Blanton, CFP®
Carlton earned his degree from East Carolina University and immediately started working in the banking industry. In 1999, he started his career in insurance and shortly thereafter acquired his investment licenses. In 2000, he partnered with his father, at Blanton Financial Group, where he has become an intricate part of the business. Carlton has obtained the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.
Carlton is a native of Raleigh where he resides with his wife, Meghan, and their wonderful dog, Scout. He enjoys spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and watching the ECU Pirates.
